An accomplished Executive who draws early career spanning academia, executive assistant and has been working at senior level of business functions ranging from executive management and board member of viable entities enforcing corporate governance codes. He is presently leading team of professionals with experiences and expertise across agribusiness management, agronomy, extension services, financial management, aggrotech, law e.t.c to create unique value proposition in climate smart agriculture and organic production in line with global agenda.  Under his leadership the company was transformed from mere commodity aggregation and trading to production, processing, manufacturing of fast-moving consumer goods and export. He is skilled in negotiation and commercial contract who has over 12 years public services and private sector backgrounds; his areas of engagements and expertise also includes human resources management and workforce retention and welfare strategy.

Abubakar is a board member of Kadume Green Consortium and Executive Vice Chairman of Nasarawa Agro-Commodity Company (NASACCO) and board member of numerous domestic and international companies with viable and promising business portfolios in Africa, UK, USA, and Europe. He attained record of success in executing challenging projects while with multicultural and interdisciplinary teams; recognized for high teamwork skills, resilience, proactive and reasonable supervision, and great leadership skills. He has facilitated and participated in dozens of seminars; conferences and workshops locally and internationally, aimed at capacity buildings. He also participated in panels of talent hunt/recruitment; promotion; re-skilling and or workforce development, retention, and management.

Mr. Abubakar is currently a candidate of an Executive master in Agribusiness Management (EMAM) in Rome Italy, he also obtained master’s in Business and Commercial Law. He bagged another master’s in social Welfare from prestigious Bayero University, Kano. He is a Certified Personnel Manager by the HRM Professionals and Certification Institute Lagos and Fellow Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management (FCIHRM) Lagos respectively.

His hobbies include mentorship, leadership development and soft skills advocacy, training, and development. Mr. Abubakar is married with children. He is a recipient of exemplary leadership award, achievement awards and certificates of honors from various organizations.
